2. Joey has opened up for Stevie Ray Vaughn (5 times), Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, The Coasters, The Commodores, Chaka Kahn, Average White Band, Albert King, Ronnie Wood, Danny Gatton,Natalie Cole and many, many others. Also been opened up for by Blues Traveller, Living Colour, and The Spin
   Doctors.
3. Joey's band (Chop Shop) was managed by Cissy Houston (Whitney's mom) in the late 80's
4. Before the age of 18 Joey performed with Gong Show Legend and Johnny Carson regular Jaye P. Morgan.
5. Joey has had a character named after him in the video game Grand Theft Auto (Joey Leone who ran a Chop Shop)
6. Joey read for the Part of Sonny in the movie Good Fella's
7. Voted one of the "Best Unknown" guitarists in Oct 91 Guitar Player magazine

10. Performed onstage w/ Bruce Willis, Wilson Pickett, Ben E. King, Chaka Kahn, Mick Taylor, Andrew Dice Clay, Albert Collins, Johnny Copeland, Chubby Checker, Jason Bonham, Sam Kinison, Joe Perry and lotsa heavy metal guys back in the 80's at the China Club. Ugh!
11. Joey had a song he produced performed by Chubby Checker at the 1989 Super Bowl, (the same song "Party Up" that was in the soundtrack of the Merril Streep / Rosanne Barr epic "She Devil"
12. Joey's mom Rosie (a renowned singer in her day ) auditioned for Glen Miller and was told by Glen himself that "your a great singer young lady but you sound like Ethel Waters, we're looking for the next Helen Forrest"
13. Joey is a board certified dialysis technician (since 1979) and had two procedures accepted for dialysis protocol in the Journal of American Medicine (Nephrology supplement)
