And So...
And so…………
With the poetry of ages
I stood on many stages
Fought back many rages
Kicked open locked cages
Seems fear has no boundary
Like crude oil in the foundry
But only love astounds me
As I see her all around me
Me who..
Sank ships, buttoned lips, twisted quips and swiveled hips
Breathed life into the dead, seldom gave up head,
Did what I said, kept track of being misled
So, teacher teach me, point fingers to reach me
Give up love to unleash me, but in time release me
From the cell
the ringing bell
that empty shell
my living hell
all this and more
Running for the door
asking for the floor
Promised not to be a bore
Sweaty palm trees grow inside my paradise of pain
Keeping out of the rain and all of their disdain
I’ll never be part of it
I wonder who started it
Died to have martyred it
In dreams of giving heart to it
For my world exists without your play
Your fake sunlight shines not on my day
I am the one who will laugh At your follie
Thank you no cracker for this polly
I am your child,
Concieved from your decay
Moving on…….away from you…..
To live and fight another day
